John Doe 1994-714 is the codename for the case of Joe Sakic's death. In issue #21 of Spawn, it is revealed that the accountant's death is at the hands of Tony Twist's men, but the NYPD is never able to link the severed body found under George Washington Bridge with Joe Sakic. The case is closed as John Doe 1994-714.
